Typing out this list made me want to throw up. I actually feel nauseous. I'm not working. I was let go from my job almost a month ago and I'm collecting severance. I'm not paying a babysitter $180/week and I'm not filling up my car almost twice a week. I've never tracked my spending like this before and this a month where I know I've spent less than I usually do. The hard part is that Christmas is coming, I'm behind on my bills (obviously, you don't see many things were paid this month...yet I still seem to be spending) and it's hard to sit home all day with my kids and not think about going out, which leads to spending money.

Something I can't live without...

I'm addicted to my TV Guide. Even though we have digital cable with that on-screen menu option, I still like to have a TV Guide in my hand so that I can know exactly what's on and when. Of course, I've never paid full price for a subscription to TV Guide and I've certainly never purchased an issue from the grocery line at $1.95. I've always been able to get in on some amazing deal. The last deal was an ad that came in the mail for an annual subscription for $13.33. I got in on that! Last week I was informed that my American Airlines miles were about to expire, unless I used a portion of the miles on one of their many products offered, one of which was an annual subscription to TV Guide. Signed on for another year. Then I stumbled upon this gem of deal and thought it was worth sharing. Wholesale Subcriptions offers an annual subscription to TV Guide for $8.72. That's a savings of 91% off the cover price. Wow!! I'd get in on this if you love TV Guide as much as I do.
